Summer Training: First Team Experience (FTX)

The First Team Experience (FTX) gets our 2013-2007 birth year players training like a pro in the summer. The sessions are delivered by our WPSL and NPSL Staff with First Team players joining in.
We invite any girls and boys players age U10-U15 (birth years 2007-2013) to attend camp led by qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Arsenal and Hotspurs coaches and First Team players.

What is the First Team Experience (FTX)?
The FTX gets our 2013-2007 birth year players training like a pro in the summer.
The sessions are delivered by our WPSL and NPSL Staff with First Team players joining in.
With a strong game-play focus throughout, players get the chance to connect with collegiate soccer players, semi-pros, and former pro athletes, and experience what it's like to train at the high-level that is required at these playing levels.
What can you expect at the FTX?
An intense, focused atmosphere with training sessions led by qualified and enthusiastic Arsenal and Hotspurs coaching staff, as well as First Team players. Come ready to work hard, learn and have some fun along the way.
Can my player join Arsenal FC of Pittsburgh after the FTX?
Absolutely. We are always accepting players.
Why the FTX?
Too often, summer is the time of year where a young player's development lags because they are not participating in their club environment. The FTX provides an opportunity to continue developing over the summer season in ways that other summer camps do not offer.
How will players be divided during the training sessions?
Players will be divided based on ability. In order to maintain the highest quality training environments, it is important that players be placed in situations where they are challenged by others at an appropriate and similar level to them.
How does the FTX benefit players in their future development?
Players take a very individual and unique developmental path. No two players progress at the exact same rate. The FTX allows players to see what it takes to play at the next level, but places them in appropriate training environments so as to not disrupt the trajectory of their individual developmental journey.

Our mission is player development.
We are committed to teaching a sustainable, attractive style of soccer, one that enforces good habits from an early age and yields consistent results in latter years.
In the spirit of a true club, we aim to provide a home and an appropriate competitive level for any player who wants to play. We strive to improve our players rather than actively recruiting from neighboring clubs.
All players must register to participate.
